• NRB, in another one of its circulars released in December 2022, asked individuals/institutions to refrain from involving in online betting, specifically mentioning that suspended bank account/mobile wallet would be the consequence for those who failed to comply.
• Nepal Police is actively apprehending individuals/racket promoting online betting and if they were to find out from anywhere that you were involved in such affairs, they are likely to come looking for you!

The straightforward answer is ‘No’. If we were to look at it that way, there’s this one medicinal plant that’s also very illegal in Nepal but its consumption is remarkably abundant, nevertheless.
