And that’s not even counting the countless reposts and shares across other platforms and fan accounts, which have only added fuel to the hype.

Trailer 1 is the Only Glimpse So Far—And Fans Are Starving for More

What’s wild is that Rockstar has only released that single trailer so far. No follow-up footage, no teaser images, not even a vague hint about what’s coming next. Fans are basically hanging on every little whisper, just waiting for any kind of update.

So yeah, GTA VI is already setting records and Rockstar hasn’t even really started the promo campaign yet.

GTA VI Trailer 2 Hype Builds Ahead of Take-Two’s May 15 Earnings Call

Mark your calendars, but keep your expectations in check because Take-Two has its next earnings call lined up for May 15. These investor meetings can occasionally drop game-related tidbits, but more often than not, they’re all business. Still, with GTA VI fever at an all-time high, fans are hoping this one call breaks tradition.

As it stands, Rockstar is aiming to launch GTA VI sometime in Fall 2025 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. But here’s where the guessing games begin: Take-Two already has two major titles scheduled—Mafia: The Old Country in August and Borderlands 4 in September. That’s led some to speculate that GTA VI might roll out in October. Of course, none of that’s official—and there’s even a possibility the game could slip into 2026, according to Take-Two’s own cautionary notes.
